In 2004, Southwell gained a NEW OWNER, Rick van Rikxoort, who introduced major improvements and upgrades. In 2005 the Series 4000 Samplers were introduced, and we believe they are so reliable that we've increased the warranty to THREE YEARS! In 2007 we were pleased to welcome Mike "Gusto" Mikalian to our team as a co-owner. Mike brings expertise in electronics, and has already improved the sampler power supply. In our desire to make portable water sampling even easier, we developed the PVS 4150 Portable Sampler in 2008, a light-weight model which still takes samples with the same durability and accuracy of vacuum sampling.
Southwell's range of samplers are based on the original manufacturing design of Sirco Products Ltd., Canada for the North American market.
