The lightest sampler in the world weighing in at a mere 23 pounds!* Taking automatic samples in distant or hard-to-reach areas has never been so easy! The PVS 4120 Automatic Water Sampler is built with a tough molded medium-density linear polyethylene, able to resist even the toughest of environments.

The PVS 4120 portable water sampler is able to take discrete and composite water samplers, from one to 24 bottles. This is the first portable sampler that can take discrete samples in a cooled environment, while at the same time being light enough to carry easily.

The base has an insulated ring for crushed ice, able to keep samples cool for extended periods of time.

These Portable Wastewater Samplers can be set up in one location over time for the sampler to automatically take water samples at the desired input. Samples can be taken based on time (e.g. every hour), or from another input like flow or level (e.g. when the water rises to a certain level).

We are also able to set up samplers with precipitation sensors, which will trigger the sampler to initiate sequence. This is particularly important for measuring stormwater runoff and first-flush collection, which is becoming increasingly more important as a measure of the pollution in our environment.
